IU School of Nursing Wants You to Report for Duty

INDIANAPOLIS - On Saturday, September 16, 2006, grab your black ties, formals or military mess dress and join the IU School of Nursing (IUSON) for a fun and entertaining evening. The School wants YOU to "report for duty" at its new fundraiser that will provide an opportunity to recognize and honor those healthcare professionals who have served or are serving in the military.
The theme of the evening is "MASH - Making Academic Scholarship Happen." Proceeds from the event will help address the nursing and faculty shortage at IUSON. With a critical shortage of nursing faculty looming on the horizon, IUSON must take dramatic steps in funding and recruiting excellent academic professionals. The fundraiser will be held in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1201 East 38th Street in Indianapolis from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and will include receptions, dinner and program, dessert and dancing.
Tickets for the VIP reception, dinner, dancing, and program are $125 per person ($75 tax deductible). Tickets for the reception, dinner, dancing, and program are $100 per person ($60 tax deductible). Music will be provided by a local band of doctors, Henle and the Loops.
