Graduation Scheduled April 16 for Students in Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program

April 14, 2008 — Inmates and college students learn together in the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program, a collaboration of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Indiana's Plainfield Re-Entry Educational Facility. On April 16, they will graduate together during a ceremony at The Indiana Department of Correction's Plainfield facility.

Serial Killers May Kill More Victims Than We Think

Dec. 12, 2007 — Serial killers might be responsible for up to 10 times as many U.S. deaths as previously estimated, according to an analysis by a criminologist at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Kenna Quinet, associate professor in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI, makes the case for the higher death figures in an article published recently in the journal Homicide Studies.   Full Story
