2008 — Dr. L. Jack Windsor, associate professor of oral biology at the IU School of Dentistry, has been accepted into the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Leadership Institute's class of 2009.

2008 — The Indiana University School of Dentistry will use a $5,000 grant from the Delta Dental Foundation to provide additional treatment to some of the children who participated in Give Kids a Smile day at the dental school on February 1.

2008 — According to the American Dental Association, children from families with annual incomes of $10,000 to $20,000 have 10 times more unmet dental needs than children whose families earn more than $50,000 per year. The Indiana Dental Association, through Give Kids a Smile day on Friday, February 1, wants to help these children receive the dental care they deserve.
