2008 — If the Department of Physical Therapy at IUPUI had mailed a post-card to its friends and acquaintances this summer, it might have read: "Hope your summer is going well. Our summer definitely is."What made the department's summer go so well is work. During the summer, the department generated grants and contracts valued at more than $1 million. That's a million times more than the department generated as little as three years ago when it did not work on a single grant or contract.

2007 — Two women from IUPUI will participate in the 32nd Annual Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration held at Bryn Mawr College. Professor Lisa Riolo, Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy in the IU School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and Angela Espada, Associate Dean for Student Services and Admissions at the IU School of Law-Indianapolis, have been accepted as participants.
