2008 — Standard neurological exams of older adults are good predictors of future brain health and quality of life. These tests should become part of the physician's routine examination of older adults say faculty from the Indiana University Center for Aging Research in an editorial in the June 23, 2008 issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine.

2008 — More than 800 alumni and friends are expected to return to IUPUI this weekend as four schools on the campus - the IU School of Law-Indianapolis, the IU School of Medicine, the IU School of Nursing, and the IU School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences - celebrate IU Alumni Weekend.

2008 — IUPUI Chancellor Charles R. Bantz today announced the selection of Dr. Augustine (Austin) Agho as the Dean of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, pending approval by the IU Board of Trustees. Agho is currently the founding Dean of the School of Health Professions and Studies at the University of Michigan-Flint, a position he has held since 2001.

2007 — Two women from IUPUI will participate in the 32nd Annual Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration held at Bryn Mawr College. Professor Lisa Riolo, Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy in the IU School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and Angela Espada, Associate Dean for Student Services and Admissions at the IU School of Law-Indianapolis, have been accepted as participants.
