2008 — Herron School of Art and Design is proud to announce that our diversity-based student group Spectrum will participate in the 38th annual Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration. This is Spectrum's fifth consecutive exhibition as part of IBE's Cultural Arts Pavilion. Herron students and alumni will exhibit alongside institutions such as the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, Indianapolis Art Center, and others.

2008 — Every two years, peace researchers from around the world gather to exchange ideas and experiences, to initiate joint projects, and develop new avenues for research. The International Peace Research Association (IPRA) conference focuses on the most urgent challenges for peace. IUPUI's Director of International Partnerships, Ian McIntosh, who teaches a class on Truth and Reconciliation at IUPUI, will address the conference on the subject of 'measuring reconciliation'.

2008 — PolicyArchive (www.PolicyArchive.org), the nation's first free, comprehensive, online archive of public policy research, was launched today by the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) University Library and the non-profit Center for Governmental Studies (CGS) with support from major U.S. charitable foundations.
