IUPUI to Host “Main Street” Workshop on Finding Funds to Help Grow a Business

Oct. 2, 2008 — The Kelley School of Business Women's MBA Alumni Advisory Board will host "Get on Top of the Bottom Line: Finding Funds for Your Business" from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, in Rooms 450 A and B at the IUPUI Campus Center, 420 University Blvd. Registration and breakfast will begin at 9 a.m.

Faculty Roundtable to Address Impact of Economic Crisis

Oct. 2, 2008 — What does the current economic crisis mean to college students, faculty and staff? Restricted student loans, lack of job opportunities, credit worries? Faculty members from the Kelley School of Business and the Economics Department in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI will hold an Oct. 7 roundtable discussion on the economic and financial market impacts of the current financial crisis.   Full Story

Faculty Club Presents Three Events In January

Jan. 8, 2008 — IU Kelley School of Business Associate Dean Philip L. Cochran, Thomas Binford Chair in Corporate Citizenship, and Professor of Management, will be the "host" at the IUPUI Faculty Club's "Conversations at Tea Time" from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on January 16 at the Faculty Club Room, IP 200, located on the second floor of the University Place Conference Center. The Faculty Club is also presenting "Reducing the Epidemic of Family Violence" by Dr. Rose S. Fife at its January "Scholarship at Lunch Time (SALT)" event. In a third event, the Faculty Club presents "Reading at the Table," with Martin A. Colemen from 11:30 to 1 p.m. on January 24. . Coleman, assistant professor of Philosophy in the IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI, will read from the eight books of "The Letters of George Santayana," edited by The Santayana Edition, for whom Martin is an Associate Editor.   Full Story
